Cane and Able is a coffee morning for, mostly, retired people in the village at 10.00 on Monday mornings

We meet every Thursday for the Prayer meeting at 19.00 on Zoom

Fantastic Friday Club meets on Friday evenings and attracts youngsters of school age

We meet on Fridays, during term time, at the Barrowby Memorial Hall. Clubs are run by Chris with a dedicated team of volunteers

cane and able

Jenny and Fay organise the Cane and Able club which meet most Monday mornings for coffee and to meet with each other. It gives an opportunity for the more senior villagers to catch up with each other and local news.

supporting missions overseas

There are strong links with a group of churches in Moldova whom we support in prayer, in finance and in manpower. We also support a missionary couple in Turkey. Several members have links with other overseas organisations including Open Doors, MAF and the BMS and there is a Prayer for Israel group which meets monthly 

Alpha

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. We start with food, then watch a film, then discuss.
